I am Marjolein Otter. I have worked as a lawyer, consultant, and have been the chairman of a works council. After working as a manager, I worked for over 10 years at board level, where I was responsible for business operations. I apply my extensive experience to all my coaching, training, and advice. I have a thorough understanding of what it takes to perform in a complex working environment. I am an excellent conversationalist, giving space and challenging where necessary, but always in a spirit of compassion and respect.

Development

In my own journey I have developed from a professional to a leader at board level. As a result, I have first-hand experience of what it is like to perform in these different roles. Whilst I enjoyed it for the most part, I sometimes encountered obstacles and didn’t know how to move forward. In my own growth and development I have gratefully made use of coaching and training. I continue to find it fascinating that the ways to overcome a problem can often be found within, waiting to be discovered.

Own practice

Since I enjoyed coaching and training people so much in my work, I decided to build my own practice. I bring all my experience, including the transition I have gone through myself, into my current work as coach, trainer, and consultant.

I am warm, energetic, open, and engaged. I live in Amsterdam with my husband and enjoy everything the city has to offer.
